I am a high school student at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology with interests in computational biology, protein biology, and cancer research. My current research involves developing computational approaches to analyze nuclear protein transport, with a focus on identifying sequence motifs involved in nuclear import and export and understanding their role in regulating protein trafficking between the nucleus and cytoplasm. Outside of work, I enjoy tending to my garden, playing basketball, and playing the guitar.
